I got a heads up about Kobe Bryant's upcoming shoe for the NBA's 2011-2012 season: The Nike Kobe VII System Supreme. It will hit stores on December 22, 2011.
What makes this shoe an improvement over the previous KB24 kicks? It will come in two versions: Attack Strong and Attack Fast.
The difference between the two versions is the inclusion of two interchangeable insert options
allowing players to switch out the cushioning and ankle support.
The Attack Strong insert offers a
full-length Cushlon midsole and an ankle cuff for a plush ride and optimal
support. On the other hand, the Attack Fast insert features a
Phylon midsole with Nike Zoom units for responsive cushioning, and a low-cut,
power-stretch cuff that hugs the foot for added support.
